Award amounts may not exceed the cost of attendance adjusted for other financial aid, and may only be awarded to students in good financial standing and good academic standing.
President’s Honor Scholarship (Undergraduates Only)
The Salem President’s Honor scholarship awards up to $2,000 per semester for students who demonstrate exceptional academic merit. You may apply after completing two consecutive semesters while enrolled full-time with a cumulative GPA of 4.0. You must reapply every year thereafter.
Additional terms apply – request a copy of the application to learn more.
Alumni Scholarship (Graduate Only)
The Salem Alumni Advantage Grant provides eligible Salem University alumni with an institutional grant of up to $1,500, applied as $300 per semester for up to five eligible semesters.
For purposes of this grant, an eligible alumnus is a student who has previously earned a Salem University degree and is enrolling in a separate, subsequent Salem University program.
External Scholarships
There are a wide range of private scholarship opportunities. You may be eligible for several different opportunities. Knowing where to search for reputable scholarships can be difficult. Get in touch with our financial aid team for more advice on where to search.
Financial Aid
Financial aid is available to those who apply and qualify. You’ll need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year that you attend Salem University. While we can’t fill out the FAFSA for you, we’re happy to answer any questions you may have. Contact our financial aid department for advice.
