Two of our specialization options are designed to meet educational requirements that can prepare you for industry certification exams offered by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
Strength and Conditioning: Aligned with the standards for the National Strength and Conditioning Association’s Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) credential, this specialization focuses on strength, conditioning, and performance for athletes.
Sport Coaching Education – This specialization emphasizes the psychology of coaching and performance analysis, equipping students with the skills to effectively lead athletes while addressing ethical considerations and contemporary issues in the coaching profession.
The MSHHP consists of 36 credits of coursework. This includes 21 core credits plus 15 in your chosen specialization.
